Termites are often called "white ants", they are actually not ants. Termites are structure damaging pests that can weaken your house and office building’s foundation. They have a special affinity for cellulose materials and termites are capable of reaching the source far away from their nests. Termites cannot smell, but are highly attracted to moist wood and cellulose materials. These cellulosic materials are attacked during their search for food and they come in contact with wood structures on ground or in building accidentally. Termites are basically primitive insects and they do not have developed chemo-sensory organs to be attracted to nay cellulosic materials.

TERMITE TREATMENTS

(A) Post Construction Termite Treatment :

Post construction anti termite treatment is essential when you see a sign of soil tube at your home, office or society building, furnitures etc. An early decision for post contruction termite treatment can safeguard, not only you, but other people living around you also.

Mode of Treatments include :

1) Drilling based treatment :

Holes of 12 mm are normally drilled at the junction of the wall and the floor, chemicals emulsion drop into holes, and finally seal with white cement.This process is carried-out to establish a chemical barrier against termite infestation.

2) Spray Treatment :

An ouder or ouderless chemical emulsion, as may be necessary, is sprayed on affected areas.

(B) Pre Construction Anti Termite Treatment :

1) General Concept :

Pre-construction anti termite treatment is a process of doing soil treatment to establish a chemical barrier against termite infestation.

This work is carried-out during the early stages of construction. Soil treatment is carried-out with approved chemicals and required to be applied during the construction stages from bottom surface of the foundation trenches to plinth level. The basic purpose of this treatment is to creat a chemical berrier between soil and building structure so that termites can be prevented to enter into building.

2) Mode of Treatments include :

Stage 1 : Bottom and sides of the trenches of Foundation

Stage 2 : 2 Backfill & wall floor junction Treatment

Stage 3 : Plinth Filling Treatment

Stage 4 : External perimetre Treatment

3. Warranty Period :

A certificate for 5 years or 10 years warranty shall be issued to the customer subject to meet below mentioned conditions

a) Assigned working site has been completely treated with anti termite treatment;

b) Full and final payment is cleared;

c) Each certificate shall be issued for each working site;

d) If any subterranean termite problem would be seen within warranty period, we shall do needful treatment,as may be necessary in order to control infestation at free of cost.
